Dreamers, doers, movers and makers are ignited and inspired in a living history adventure packed with hands-on experiments, outdoor exploration, artifact hunts and other adventures exclusive to campers at The Henry Ford. A camp for question-asking, curiosity-driven, day-dreaming kids to dive into America’s innovation laboratory. The Henry Ford Summer Camps are grade-specific programs that open up the pages on the great stories of American innovation, ingenuity and resourcefulness.
Dates
Six 1-week sessions for children entering grade 2 – 8 from June 26 – August 11, 2017.
Note: Summer Camp will not be held the week of July 3 due to Salute to America activities.

NEW Registration Process for 2017
All registrations will be processed through our Call Center. Please call one of our friendly representatives who will be happy to assist you by dialing 313-982-6001. We understand that our normal business hours of 9am – 5pm may not be convenient for everyone to register their child for camp. Therefore, in order to accommodate you we are offering extended registration hours from 8am – 8pm, March 1 – 3 and April 5.
For your child’s enjoyment, please register him/her for the grade he/she will be entering in the fall. Each program is repeated six times – registering for more than one week’s camp is not recommended. Priority registration for donors and members is March 1 through April 4, 2017. Open registration begins April 5, 2017. Full refunds must be requested by May 19, 2017. No refunds will be given after May 20, 2017.
