We really loved staying at Tin Lizzie. The house is really beautiful and the room was very comfrotable. Most importantly, David and Sheran are wonderul hosts, the breakfast was always fantastic and their attention to details is remarkable.

Everything about this place is wonderful. Rooms are beautiful, amenities are modern, hosts are personable, respectful, wonderful, and helpful, and site is the closest you can get to the entrance to the park without actually staying inside its gates. My husband and I enjoyed its unique and warm old-world charm, which is nearly impossible to find in today’s commercial venues. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Great place to stay when visiting Yosemite

We had a great stay at Lizzie Inn. The property is really a top one, and the service is fabulous. It was the best place we stayed during our California tour. Congrats! Lizzie Inn does not have a dinning option on site, but very close there is Tennaya Lodge where there two restaurants available, where someone can have an acceptable dinner.

Our stay at the Tin Lizzie was really wonderful. Jeb and Carmen are excellent hosts.They were welcoming and beyond accommodating of our requests. They made a special stay a spectacular one with the warmth of their presence, the great food and special touches in giving us a great itinerary in the park and a fun fun time just hanging out with them. JUST go. you will not be disappointed. PS they are open for the winter.. WHICH IS THE BEST TIME TO BE IN YOSEMITE!!!

Hospitality Abounds

Carmen and Jeb were wonderful hosts. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed and every comfort was ours for the asking. Breakfast was really yummy. I loved the blueberry pancakes! Jeb did a super job of giving us ideas for a Yosemite itinerary. He set us up with hikes and points of interest that were perfect for our abilities and curiosity. The rooms and common areas were comfortable and clean. Fresh flowners, Fresh coffee and fresh smiles were in abundance. We had an extra special stay. We are thinking about going back this winter to experience the Yosemite Valley in its winter glory. Just go. You will be happy you did.

Birthday trip to Yosemite

Carmen and Jeb (hosting for the owners) were perfect in every way. They gave us a ride across the street to dinner at the nearby resort/lodge two nights in a row. Jeb gave us a detailed itinerary of what to do, where to park, where to stop, etc., for our two days in Yosemite. Carmen offered to cook whatever we wanted for breakfast and we had our choice of serving times. They keep everyone private at this B and B (which is really nice, since many visitors to Yosemite don’t even speak the same language). Every day our room was cleaned and the bed was made. After staying at several B and B’s in Texas, this was a first for us! Overall, the room was huge and comfortable-we stayed in the suite. We had a private balcony as well with a nice view. Everything about the stay was first class and we were waited on hand and foot-literally, our every need was met. Highly recommended! You’ll love the house and if you get Carmen and Jeb as your hosts, you can’t ask for anything more!
